What is this musical piece?

it goes like:

| f . . e | d-e . . e-e | e-g . . d-d | d-f . f . |

I think I heard it on piano or maybe somewhere else, and I have no idea what it is.

thanks for your help!

oh! sorry, the beat is a little off.

i have heard it but i dont know what it is i can play a bit of it

Is it a Christmas carol... if I I figured out your transcription correctly it sounds like "O Holy Night" where they sing "fall on your knees..."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O_Holy_Nigh...

it's all over youtube

I agree with "screamin..." that it's O Holy Night on the "fall on your knees part." however, i'm pretty sure the solfege (although it works how you did it) is actually (in rhythm as you put it) do, ti la ti, ti re, la la la do, do
