What can you learn from frederic chopin?

like wat did u learn from him. pls give me a good answer this is for my project!!!

Playing Chopin's piano music taught me about piano technique, romantic period phrasing, and also about various formal elements such as the waltz, the nocturne, and the prelude. His Polish heritage can be seen in much of his music and one can learn a great deal about this through his mazurkas and polonaises.

His later piano works are compositional masterpieces; they mix various forms, explore new ways of structuring harmony, and develop in a newer more free (almost improvisational) way. Examples of these kind of pieces are:

1. Ballade No. 4 Op. 52
2. Barcarolle Op. 60
3. Polonaise-Fantasie Op. 61

Wikipedia's article on Chopin gives some good info on his compositional styles and influence: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fr%C3%A9d%C...

Piano. Frederic Chopin is a Polish pianist and a piano composer in the 19th century.

A master of the melodies and a National Romantic composer, died only at the age of 39 years. His heart has been buried to Paris and his other body to Poland as he lost his heart to France while being there. Hence the French way to pronounce his name.

Well to like Frederic Chopin you must be full with emotions... Then You can unserstand his music.
I'm a student in music high school and he is my favorute artist. As I said, you have to feel his music, then all of the rest comes naturally. His nocturnes and preludes are so divine that you just can't resist giving in to them.
I guess the main thing that i learned is how to express my feelings and not to be ashamed of what I am...

Hope this helps.

Listen to Raindrop from Chopin or his Nocturne in cis-moll (minor) i think that you'll see what i'm talking about....
