Dark piano piece?

I am looking for a dark sounding piano or orchestra peice
like moonlight sonata, lacrimosa, Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, or o fortuna

Two orchestral pieces you might want to check out are by Jean Sibelius:"Tapiola" and "The Swan of Tuonela".

Sibelius's music as a whole, is rather brooding and with deep pathos. And by the way a short but "dark" piece of his, though a waltz, is his "Valse Trieste"(sp-?): it may be originally for orchestra, I'm not sure, but there is a very good piano version of it.

it's longer than the youtube link but was the only decent one i could find. this was also from the eyes wide shut soundtrack

Here's the Moonlight Sonata:

Saint-Saens Piano concerto no. 2. It sounds really good with an orchestra but it's amazingly hard. if you don't play it, you should still listen to it because it's a good piece.
