HELP.
for my music homework i have to analyse romantic composers. Name me a romantic composer and a link to see their song.
How do I anaylse it?

You are on a computer, do a Google search for heaven's sake. This particular subject is very interesting and once you get your ear trained to hear the difference, you won't be able to listen to classical music without automatically identifying the period. It really is enjoyable as the music is wonderful and timeless. You would be amazed how much classical music is used in movies, commercials and as inspiration for modern songs.

Beethoven was considered to be at the end of the Classical period and the beginning of the Romantic period. Another solid Romantic would be Tchaikovsky.

The Romantic period music is very dramatic. Listen to Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. There are many shifts from soft to loud, fast to slow, high to low to stir the emotions and tell a story. Listen to Debussy's Afternoon of a Faun. It sounds very dreamy and conveys a mood. Other Romantics include Chopin, Wagner, Grieg, and Dvorak.
