"A Fifth of Beethoven"..in minor?

I know the song "A Fifth of Beethoven" by Walter Murphy is in minor, but does it alternate between minor and major, or is the whole song in minor? I reallly need to know for a school project. Thanks for the help. And if you've never heard the song, it's here : http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=DD551C9LgW...

It appears to alternate between minor and major at one point, in an interlude that occurs from about 1:45 to 2:00 minutes into the song.

For your other information: Beethoven's 5th is in C Minor until the lovely picardy third at the end...
