I want to create my music on the computer. Is Adobe Adition 3 easy to use? I can play most things on the piano by ear but can't read a note. I want a good program so I don't need to buy another one. Can someone tell me what they know about Auditon 3? The more the better being that I have never used this kind of program before and want to be informed on it before I spend the big bucks. I have a string piano, no keyboard. Thanks. I don't know Adobe Audition, but if you just want to record audio, there are far cheaper options.

If you are on a mac you cab use Garage band. A great, free, program by Apple.
The most important is not the software you use, but the Microphone and Audio card you use. Don't spent a fortune on software, it can't make a bad recording (a lot better)
A bad microphone can ruin a recording and it's almost imposible to fix it.
