here are the lyrics
"You Raise Me Up"
When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.
You raise me up... To more than I can be. The Schubert string quintet (not the Trout) first movement works for me. It empathises with the melancholy side of you and then twists you and itself to see the positive.
Beethoven Spring Sonata (1st mvt) is maybe better. Depends on your personality ;) "O fortuna" by Carl Orff seems to used a lot for a "motivational" piece
I like "Jupiter " by Holst Tchaikovsky Concerto Mvt. III
Vocalise Op. 34 - Rachmaninov
Symphonie Espagnole - Intermezzo - Edouard Lalo
Nocturne in C Sharp Minor - Chopin
Amy Lee & Seether - Broken
Tchaikovsky Canzonetta
Zigunerweisn - Pablo de Sarasate J. S. Bach
Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, especially the first movement. |
