Stringed Instruments?

The ones that bow... know any besides cello, bass, viola, violin, and erhu?

Also, here's a wacky list I found on Wikipedia:

fiddle is a folk name for a violin

There are Viols. The Viol family is different from the Violin family. Often, Viols don't project as well and are tuned in 4ths rather than 5ths.

There is also a rebek (sp?) a predicessor to the Violin.
