Anyone have a Stradivarius violin? |
Anyone have a Stradivarius violin? The Smithsonian has one, I'm sure.. They're quite rare & worth millions of dollars. If I did have one, I wouldn't be bragging about it on here. Most people have copies, but if a person had the real one, they would keep quiet about it. Strads are worth millions, and it would really stink if someone stole it. The Smithsonian has one, Joshua Bell has one, and some female violinist I've heard of. Itzhak Perlman owns and plays one ; the Soil Strad of 1714. Do you mean ....um ....me? *Extremely* unlikely. See: Andre Rieu has 2 Stradivarius Violins I always loved this, when it came out i WISH. haha. my friend is joshua bell's niece, and he has one. my former swim coach's grandfather owned one. My university had one until a couple years ago. They're really valuable; I doubt too many individuals own them. Oh yes...two or three...No seriously, I'm not ready to spend the rest of my life paying for a violin when I'm not a professional...Strads are extemely rare..extemely old and worth mega bucks!! (can you say millions???) I do have a Stainer, a Neuner-Horsteiner, and a Pfretschner (which really only has sentimental value...my deceased father gave it to me as a gift) well, i don't own any violin, but if you intend to get a violin, you can try view 88db website and you can find German copy of STRADIVARIUS VIOLIN library of congress has a pair now i think. they have amazing instruments there! tons or rare items. i have hofner violin and i'm loving it. why do you ask about strads? |
