has anyone ever played that part on the clarinet? if so, do u have any tips or anything to be careful of while playing? this is my audition peice Short and light.
Exaggerate dynamic changes - the listener should hear a large contrast between "pp" at the start and "ff" in bar 47.
Listen to at least one recording to confirm the proper tempo. iTunes often offers downloading only one movement of a symphony.
Finally, the original notation is for 'C' clarinet. Are you suppose to transpose on sight or were you given a transposed part? (Check that with the ensemble leader.)
