Good classical music? |
I absolutley love Beethoven, by far the best composer, and motzart is pretty good, not a big fan of bach... Any good classical music someone wants to reccomend by chance? Try some of the russians: Tchaikovsky (sp?), Rachmaninov, prokofiev (sp?), etc. I mostly know the piano composers: liszt, chopin, debussy, mendelssohn, ravel, and a personal favorite--sorabji. Chopin!!! Hell yea, Chopin... talk about head-banger music Tchaikovsky Beethoven Mozart and Haydn were three greatly known composers in the Classical Period. But I think Beethoven and Mozart's styles are better defined than Haydn's. You could try him out though. You can also try some Schubert. He was at the closing of the Classical Era and the Beginning of the Romantic Era so his styles and works are a combo of both styles. But Chopin's Waltzes are amazing romantic era pieces. I highly recommend Chopin pieces :] Moonlight Sonata (of course!) you should give a try to bruckner,,,,he is mine benefactor Vivaldi, The Four Seasons Don't like Bach...oh my goodness. They used to burn people alive at the stake for that. I recommend spelling lessons and then after that music appreciation classes. Not a big fan of Bach?!! Well, at least you spelled Beethoven correctly. Mahler perhaps?? Vivaldi, Mozart's operas, Shubert's Ave Maria, Verdi's operas. Mendelssohn is my favorite composer. Beethoven is my second, Handel is my third. |
