How can i play notes that are two octaves apart on a piano? |
the musical piece im tryin to play is numb by organized by theken (vocal version) there is some notes that requires your right hand to press a bunch of notes at the same time from the middle c to and the last note is to another c that is 2 octave higher? how do i stretch my right fingers that far to press all the notes together at once? i don't think it's humanly possible to stretch your hand two octaves... you could do some kind of grace note thing, try to use your left hand somehow, or improv. and also, is it that crucial to the song? you could omit some notes, and people may not even notice. best of luck! :) Those 'chords' should be played like arpeggios. What's your left hand doing at this point? I love that piece! When I play it, I have to use my nose. Without looking at the score, I can tell you it's probably most reasonable to roll the chord (playing the notes in sequence as fast as you can, instead of playing them simultaneously as a chord), probably from bottom to top. If possible, you can use your left hand to help with some of the right hand notes, but it is probably still necessary to roll the chord. Hope this helps! As others have stated it is probably intended that you play the chord 鈥渁rpeggio鈥? Is there a vertical squiggly line next to the notation? or perhaps some kind of bracket? 鈥?This would indicate arpeggio. First, not with the same hand. |
