Old benjamin violin? eastman strings?

Hmm. While I can't see the instrument specifically, the fact that you're referring to a model number (and it's a new instrument) does suggest that the instrument wouldn't be worth any more than you originally payed for it. In fact, it would probably be worth less just because of the normal ware and tear of time.
