Piano arpeggio question?

what are your techniques in playing arpeggios? i often seem to repeat notes when playing arpeggios. any hints?

My piano teacher used to tell me to use a rolling motion of the wrist, as if you are turning a door knob (but with your fingers pointing down obviously)

I use these basic arpeggio techniques that were used by 3 of my past piano teachers, including Emilio del Rosario.....

Right Hand

Going up with the right hand, the 1st finger needs to go under the 3rd or 4th finger as if you are doing the scale.

Going down with the right hand, the 3rd or 4th finger needs to go over the 1st finger.

Left Hand.....

Going up in arpeggios, the 3rd or 4th finger should curve over the 1st finger.

Going down in arpeggios, the 1st finger needs to go under the 3rd or 4th finger.

But regrettably, pianist/composer Franz Liszt broke the traditional rules of arpeggio technique and fingering, but I can accept it.
