what is tht lovely classical song .. but i forgot the title but i knw part of it ' "something" for the common man....' or "......."for the ordianry man'

it was in the film platoon...........if u could give me the name of the song i would be most grateful but again its a classical piece

Fanfare for the Common Man by Aaron Copeland - a composer due to be rediscovered imho. There are many versions available if you do a search. fwiw - I can see the school Copeland went to elementary school out of my living room window its co-ops now.
