There's a curious nasal quality to the sound below a certain point in her range, which many won't warm to. The voice needs to be projected more through the mouth to avoid this. The voice is light and pleasant and she sounds to have good, agile technique (Bach is not easy to sing well). It sounds like quite a young voice which needs to mature further.
Sounds promising, however. She sounds quite good...very difficult music to sing.
Not too keen on your other videos though ! LOL Overall, I like her voice. I agree with the other answers. Bach is hard to sing, and I think that a more mature sounding voice would bring this piece to its full potential. |
