Tansen lived more than 400 years ago. . . so the big question is, did Indian Classical had some other form in the days of Miyan Tansen ?

The Indian Classical Music we hear today has its origin in the Dhrupad, but it is different from the type, it was played during Tansen's times.
Ragas in Dhrupad as well as the current Indian Classical are the same, but the treatment of the notes is slightly different. |
