I don't have any musician friends or know anyone that's capable of writing (or helping me write) a good song. You can look online for "composers" or contact your local branch of ASCAP (if not local, then just the main headquarters). It's funny you should ask. I have a friend who is a prolific writer/ composer. She's so good I decided to buy the domain name custommadeweddingsongs.com for her.
It's not setup yet, but she does this sort of stuff all the time.
Actually composed a whole album for someone. If there is a University or college in your area, see if it has a music department. Chances are there are several talented young composers itching for material. And the resulting piece may even be performed on their recital. |
