It's the second movement (Largo cantabile) from Haydn's Symphony No 93 in D major.

Hope this helps.

I'm fairly certain it's Haydn

I'll give it a listen tomorrow - right now I'm on a computer with no speakers.

i agree with Exo_Nazareth, it's most likely Haydn although I don'd know the piece either.
actually it's rather funny. It starts as a string quartet, until 0:28
Then it repeats with a typical Haydn Sound Basson, doubling Strings
So we have
a-a
Then section b (0:57) starts with tutti orchestra
from 1:19 a is repeated again, now with tutti strings, until it stops at 1:31
After a short bridge a new element starts at 1:42 and stops at 2:28 where a is repeated again, but soon repeated in minor (2:41) leading to a completely different key (2:58) and then slowly turning back to the original key (3:23) and the original theme.
until 3:35 At 3:56, the theme is once more repeated, but know forte and the piece ends with a rather funny coda (from 4:00) Listen to the bassoon at 4:24 :-)
So indeed it sounds a bit like a rondo although it isn't realy dance music.
Having listened it once again I stay with haydn (I guess)
