There's no classical piece at the begining There is a piano intro in the longer version of this song. It used to be common practice to edit down songs so they were around three minutes in length and could be played on AM radio. There was no particular reason for this practice aside from shortening the songs so that more commercials and other songs could be squeezed in.the time it would take to play the full length version of the song.
