What was the name of Beethoven's last symphony?

What was the name of Beethoven's last symphony?

Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Opus 125 "Choral"

He started to write a tenth which, but he died before enough could be written someone to perform it. The ninth is just Beethoven's Ninth or Ode to Joy (this is really just a section of it) Op. 125, Symphony No. 9 Choral. It's called many different things.

Its most commonly known as the Choral symphony.

"Pastoral" :p
This is the only symphony that was named by Beethoven.
The others were named by other people (even the third - "Eroica"; Beethoven dedicated to Napoleon but Bonaparte disappointed him so the title became "In the memory of a great man"; this title became "Eroica", but this name was not given by the composer).
So, the last symphony it's just "The Ninth Symphony in d minor, op. 125". The "name" Choral it was not given by Beethoven.

The 10th finished by Schubert?

Symphony No.9 was the last one that he lived to see performed, or even finished, he started on the tenth but died before its completion
