Suspenseful Violin pieces?

does anyone know the composers who write those suspensful violon pieces. These musical pieces are fast paced and usually evoke scenes of italy.

listen to schubert's quintet in c major. The suspenseful parts of the song are the kind i'm trying to find.

Stravinsky's Violin Concerto is one of the most intense Violin pieces I've ever heard, but you probaly mean Paganini. His most famous pieces are twenty four capirces (and these are certainly what you mean, fast paced, supenseful and very italian). He was probaly the biggest influence of any classical composer on today's rock music, because in the eighties a ton of guitarists started inputing classical music into their playing and he is generally the person they took the most from. Paganini was a virtuoso with basically every open stringed instrument, Violin, Viola, Cello, Guitar etc not just violin. Not only that but he wrote his first Violin Concerto when he was just over twenty and it showed obvious virtuosity at that young of an age.
