Handel's Messiah Do you know of a recording with a brass band instead of an orchestra?

Long ,long ago I was taken to a performance in Yorkshire that had a brass band and choir. It was brilliant. I'd love to have a recording of something similar.

There is a recording with the famous Black Dyke band and the Halifax Choral society of Handels Messiah.

Follow this link to buy it.

Handels Messiah by brass band ... only in Yorkshire!!

I know somebody who is hoping to play the fiddle in the Messiah on the 18th in Exeter Cathedral. I can enquire if you are really interested.

I heard a very good recording with an outstanding bass on BBC's Radio 3 a few years ago. There was also a commentary on the action.
