Favorite love arias from operas?

Just wondering what your favorite love aria is...mine is "Mon coeur s'ouvre a ta voix"

It is from Samson et Dalila...and Maria Callas is my favorite, although Anna Netrebko is quickly becoming another favorite

It was Maria Callas that first opened my heart to opera.

I don't speak French, but I'm presuming your choice is "My Heart at thy Sweet Voice" form Saint-Saens Samson and Delila. Let me know if I'm correct in Add Details.

My favorite is the "Liebestod" from Wagner's Tristan und Isolde.

Gonoud's Romeo et Juliette has some beutiful love songs...

'Ach, ich fuhl's' from Die Zauberflote is great.

'Adieu, notre petite table' from Manon is beautiful and not so common.

These are just a few that I have sung, but there are so, so many more beautiful pieces. Just listen to everything you can get your hands on.

Don't sing 'O mio babbino caro' please! Everyone who sings opera is soo sick of it. Every high schooler sings it to feel like an opera singer.
