Counterpoint etudes for guitar?

Does anyone know any for this technique that are not too demanding to play, but will help understanding and learning.

Try looking at the works of Fernando Sor. He wrote duets for guitar which I am sure explore this theme.
Also Bach ; there are many guitar transcriptions of the works of Bach....worth looking into.

sor is excellent for this as is bach
try looking for a book dealing with arabic/indian classical music transcriptions....that will take you a long way
