Why are the Disney TV shows so fake?

they act nothing like real teens

Its because it's a TV show. It's not supposed to be real :D

because they don't have different problems and they know everything will work out somehow

tv is fake dude. tv is for entertainment. tell me how real teens are supposed to act?

Yeah, I know. I guess it's because Disney is trying to promote the abstinence of everything for teens, setting an example, or whatever. It's gay. Very gay. They in a way, I think, are putting normal teens down for the things they do. Ugh. That Hannah Montana show drives me CRAZY. It's like the most stupid thing possible.

If Disney TV stars acted like real teens, their programs would not be suitable for a preteen market, which is their primary audience.

Becuase its geared towards little rich kids that have perfect lives, so all the corny stuff in the shows is Disney trying to appeal to them. The little kids see the rich little snobs on the shows and want to be JUST like them. Of course Disney wouldn't have them act like real teens, because then Mommy and Daddy wouldn't get them everything they want.

Because its smaller child and family friendly-I'd rather see that then the junk they put on cable-is any of that filth real? Course not! Look at Lagauns or other reality shows-I've lived there-completely stupid and part is filmed in LA. Nip Tuck is disgusting and I really wish CSI had tools like on the show and that much time to spend on cases-I like it but its unrealistic. Its just thats what Disney stands for-whats wrong with that?

i guess you have to look it in a 10 year kids eyes. they love it. i like it becoz it makes my younger sister happy and doesnt lead her onto wrong things about teenagers(sex, drinking etc.) holyoaks might be your option if you are looking for real teen stuff.

I think that the show are fake because kids like to see the fake things in life then to see the real and parents also would not let there kids see the real thing that is why Disney is still on TV because think about it would you let your kids see what really happiness in life or the fake things that happens I would think that you would not want you kids if you had any to see parents wiping their kids *** and other things like the yelling at their parents because think about it your kids may think that is OK to do because the kids on TV do it and then you would have to be the mean parent so next time you ask a question like this think it over OK

It's something like the TV shows from the 1950s, 60s, etc; they weren't trying to depict the world with it's flaws. They were showing the world as we would like it to be.
And maybe that can be useful, if people try to move themselves in that direction.

The only other thing that I would add (though it contradicts the last sentence that I wrote above) is don't look to Hollywood for a realistic portrayal of the world. Those people are bottom-line bean counters. Real inspiration and creativity are very low on their priority list.

Watch the shows that make you laugh, don't waste your time with the rest, and you'll be better off.

I was just thinking about this. If Disney made their teenagers on the show act like real teenagers, the show would not be suitable for the targeted audience, which are pre-teens.

Take for example- Cory In the House. Cory goes to live in The White House with his dad because his dad, Victor, is hired to be the chef. This show is very unbelievable. The president acts nothing like our president in real life. I don't think anyone would want him as a president. And they all act like nothing is wrong with America. The President acts like there are no wars, world peace, and there is nothing to do except live in an expensive mansion and spoil his daughter.

Next, we have Hannah Montana. Very unbelievable, also. When she puts on her wig as Hannah Montana, the only that changes is her hair. People could still recognize her.

To me, the only believable show on Disney is Life with Derek. I will watch that... most of the time. It deals with an issue that actually could happen in life and is believable.

Because they aren't made for teens. They are made for smaller kids who look up to teens, so it's dumbed down.

disney characters are actually based off of real people's hallucinations. Like I created buz lightyer. I was at a party and strapped a firework to my back and jumped off the roof singing TWO INFINITY AND BEYOND, apparently mr. walt disney was there. He thought he was some sort of cowboy..? how does that have anything to do with a space cowboy.?

cuz they like to brainwash little kids into thinking life is perfect
