How much do actors make for re-run episodes of thier shows? |
I noticed the other day that you can find "The Fresh Prince of BelAir" on some tv channel almost any time of the day and night. Do the actors still make money on re-run shows, even decades after they're off the air? It all depends upon what the sydication contract says. Some actors make residuals on each and every episode every single time it shows. Others don't make a dime. Just depends on how the contract was written up. The first few times an episode is rerun they make a decent check. However, when the show reaches the point where it's on all the time, they only make a few cents per episode. Depends on the contract their agent worked out with the network and producers of the show. it depends on the actors and the contract that they might have. |
