Why is this week's "Office" another re-run from last season!!?!?!?!?

This is ridiculous! How can these shows be in re-runs already and why are they re-runs from last season? Why wsa Heroes so SHORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????? TV gets on my nerves. I hope AMerican Idol is better this year. It stunk last year.

I've heard that the writers were on strike, but I guess for some reason, I only thought that affected late night tv. How can I find out what the deal with the strike is?

unitedhollywood.com is a great site for strike information
fans4writers.com is also good
If you're a Whedonite, whedonesque.com is great

Heroes was originally planned to have two volumes for the second season, so that ending was what was planned. Tim has said that the ending of volume 2 would also work as an ending for the second season if they are unable to film more this season. Heroes should be back on the air in 2008, but it might not be until September/October. While you're waiting, you could check out the new Heroes novel, Saving Charlie, which comes out Dec 26, 2007.

The Office has been reruns because NBC "force majoured" all of the crew/cast at the begining of the strike. That means they can't work on the show, the pay was cut until filming restarts and the cast/crew won't allow them to do any other projects. Bionic Woman was also force majoured.

As for AI, votefortheworst.com has a list of the majority of the people that make it to the Top 32. I've gone through it and listened to some of the singers, and I have a feeling that this season is going to be worse than last.

Don't know if you've heard, but the writers are on strike.

Uh - It's December and most T.V. shows become reruns at this time. Only a handful of shows will air "first-run", unless they didn't have enough shows taped before the writers strike.

Excellent answer by David. You may also want to see what the writers of the Office themselves (some of which are cast members) have to say about it here:
