Was Norm really drinking beer on the T.V. show Cheers? |
Was Norm really drinking beer on the T.V. show Cheers? No. TV shows aren't allowed to show people actually drinking alcohol, so whenever you see a person on a tv show drinking alcohol, it is a replacement liquid. Usually wawter for clear alcohols like vodka, and iced tea for darker ones like burbon and whiskey. I'm not sure what they use for beer though. I doubt it, probably apple juice or something similar. if he was he must of been one happy boy I doubt tv producers and directors would really want drunks on the set - a little unpredictable in their performance, so I doubt it was real, but you never know who sneaks what ! Not really sure...but, l have a question on what the person said above, that they can't drink alcohol on tv ,why do you see cooking shows, talk shows, the Today show 'tasting' samples all the time? I've seen them doing that all the time...with beer and wine? Probily not ...But that was a full working bar ...one never knows do one No, for all those years, they used tea with bicarb of soda to give it some foam. YECH! |
