Best of contemporary, slightly off mainstream British comedy?

Like Mighty Boosh, Peep Show, Russell Brand, QI - what are you really loving at the moment?

Green Wing is fab - I have watched it so many times, and I LOVE Bill Bailey. Noel Fielding is of course the unusual looking electro ponce, so he gets the attention, but as Julian is closer to my age I am fancying him more - even with the little eyes! They constantly refer to where I live - it feels very homey - the Nabootique being in Dalston, and Vince loving Hoxton to socialise in - it isn't as cool as they make it sound!
Did anyone see The Smoking Room?
Thought that that deserved greater attention. And I love the IT crowd: 'A dynamic go getter, a genius, and a man from Ireland'.

I was so annoyed that I didn't watch The Smoking Room when it was on, I've since seen some eps and it's superb

Love the IT Crowd, Hyperdrive, The Mighty Boosh, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, Man to Man with Dean Learner,

Does anyone else feel like we're on the next wave of alternative comics - superb

Black Books and Green Wing are both full of laughs, Green Wing more off centre. Not exactly current, but still very good.

Everybody loves the Boosh!

Definately the best thing in a while, shame about the Noel Fielding love affair, Julian's better...

Even though its not contempary, I love Red Dwarf.

Im quite upset that its back on TV. Thats an odd thing to say, but now something that hardly anyone apart from me knew about at my school is being quoted all over the place, and I look like Im just someone who's seen it on Dave even though I have all the videos Dx

I love QI, Mighty Boosh and Russel Brand too.

And Have I got News for you and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

Ah and I agree with the person further up. Black Books and Green Wing <3

im just re watching green wing on dvd, forgot how brilliant it was.
Its not on at the moment but loved mock the week as well.
