Is it weird?

I was born in the 80's, yet listen to a lot of music from the 60's and 70's. And watch old shows from as far back as the 50's
Is anyone else this way that they don't like the music/shows of their own era?

No, it's not weird. Some people just have different tastes and they're entitled to that. I like music from the 60's and back. For my age, that's unusual. But not weird. It' s just peer pressure that makes a lot of people believe that certain things are weird. That doesn't make it true.

Same goes to people who watches old movies like bat man, superman, spiderman, ghost riders etc...

It means you were probably born around 1940 in a past life. You lived for a while and died. Now you subconsiously like the same things you did in your past life. Just like when people have extreme fears of water or heights or anything around their necks.

I rated megans answer as a good one, but I have a footnote. It's courageous and, well, ballsy to go against the grain. I don't watch "tv" as my schoolmates would put it, but I watch the food channel sometimes and the bbc. So what if you like nick at night or the nostalgia channel! you're more intelligent and psychologically deep for it. TV, like MTV and crap is all crap nowadays. so you know what you like, instead of what everybody else likes. The world needs more people like you.
