Is the actors of the show The Office on strike with the WGA?

I've noticed that they are playing alot of reruns. I miss that show so much!! I'm watching all the old ones on TBS.

yeah sadly they are, i hope they come back that is my favorite show of all time, TBS every tuesday night at ten im so there....

The actors aren't on strike...but they have no scripts since the writers are on strike...The Office is one of those rare shows where a few of the actors on the series are also writers for the series.

The actors are not on strike but is pretty hard to act without a script, hence the reruns. A lot of the actors are supporting them by picketing with them though.

Many members of the SAG are on the picket line with the writers to show solidarity among the two groups. Such shows as CSI & Desperate Housewives are among those on the line.

Yes, the writers are on strike and because some of the actors on The Office are also writers for the show, they are picketing.
