What do u think about my question?

Have you ever noticed that Most of the tv shows take place in the kitchen ???? I have been watching Fresh prince of bel-air and the george lopez show and they are always in the kitchen, waht do you think ?

In my home the kitchen was the place where I always was, so if you wanted to talk to me thats the place that you had to be, and then everyone just followed and before you knew it, it was a family reunion in the kitchen, and the night was great?LETS BRING BACK THE FAMILY TABLE AND FAMILY TIME!

i agree.
most of all shows take place in the kitchen.
but then again, a lot of stuff in real life happens in the kitchen.
maybe it is a coincidence, or maybe the set it up like that on purpose.
I'm not sure, but its nice to know I'm not the only one noticing!!

I think that most shows that are based off of an average person's life would take place in places an average person would be.

People spend LOTS of time in the kitchen lol

The kitchen has always been recognized as a place for communication in the family. I'm talking about old fashioned American values. Network TV, even in comedies, always makes their programs look like the American dream.

Very good point. This happens in most television broadcasts.. such as King of Queens, George Lopez, My Wife and Kids, Married with Children.. etc, etc.
I think it is just because the kitchen is usually the climax of interest... meaning there are always fights, disagreements, etc.

Hadn't really thought about it, but I think you're right. Frasier had a lot of kitchen seens, MASH was in the mess tent alot. Even Star Trek: Voyager was in the kitchen alot.
If there was a show about my family, there would probably be a lot of kitchen scenes too.

I like your question good thinking ...I also notice it ...My fave show is fresh prince of bel air .... I think that when family talk or something they do it in the kitchen ... :)
