What show do people like better the simpsons or family guy?

Family Guy is a terrible show with a stupid fanbase. I prefer The Simpsons because it isn't as dimwitted as FG.

Both are good on their own way. Some people might argue that Family Guy is just a ripoff and copy of Simpsons. I think it's more of a parody... well, pretty much the whole show has been a Simpsons parody (which is not bad). If you easily get offended by over-the-top liberalism, constant randomness, and just plain all-out use of freedom of speech, then Family Guy is for you. Take all that... tune everything down a bit... and add in a different and distinct animation style, then you've got Simpsons. I haven't really grown up watching Simpsons, so I could never really say what's good and bad about it. What I did notice, though, is that the Simpsons manage to squeez in life lessons on family, friendship, etc. Family Guy, however, rarely does that. Watching Family Guy is really just a quick fix of anti-boredom... it's freakin' fun while it lasts... and, yet, there's I'd never feel attached to its characters. It's not like watching a show like Heroes or Seinfeld.

simpsons is classic but family guy is funny in a dirty way so i guess i have to say they are both the best and its too hard to choose just one

None.. they suck nowdays...

They were good, but somehow, Fox got to greedy and they started paying less to their writers and episodes have become crap.

I like Family Guy better, Stewie cracks me up, and the talking upright dog...lol.
I still like The Simpsons, but they are running out of storylines.

Simpsons is the greatest animated tv series of all time.

I like family guy because it is more abstract than the simpsons. I think the simpsons has better writing that is more understandable but family guy is more for the 16-25 generation.
