Why does my husband like anime?

This is simulaur to my last question, but some were confused and thought I was complaining about my husband so I am trying it this way.. the best explaination wins.

lol not trying to "break his habits" lol It has always been the one question you could never quite explain to me is all. That is why I ask.

well it depends of what kind of anime he watches..

if he likes action its probably something like bleach they have very interesting plots....good action and other things that grab ur attention

if he likes ecchi (perverted) anime thats a whoolllleee nother story.

but if he just likes the action its probably because he either watched one series and loved it or because hes been watching it since hes been little.

i love anime for the action and funniness but i guess its a thing when u see one its kinda like ur addicted.

well its very addicting if u watch one or more sereis and very interesting, like watching a movie in every episode the story continues until sadly it ends and u start another series. Very interesting. Maybe thats why....^-^

well, people like all types of things. your husband just happens to have really great taste ^^

the art is incredible (most), the story lines and plots are both rich in detail and style ^^ its relaxing to watch and it really takes stress off. well, for me it does ^^

anime is just a type of enterainment there are diffrent kinds of animes for diffrent people if u want to start watching anime u should and here is a list of stuff i certify awsome

I dare you to try and watch Crayon ShinChan and not enjoy it.

The reason why your husband likes anime because he merely is a male. All genders like anime, but male is very dominant with stuff like this. Like dragonballz, naruto and much more. He also likes anime because he migth like the eyes and the drawings of the characters because japanese draw better than american comics and cartoons. Embrace it and watch it with him. Hell, watch it with your kids.

because anime, unlike most cartoons are not limited to little kids, we've got shows like Family Guy and The Simpsons that adults find enjoyable, Anime has contents that are unsuitable for kids which could make adults like them, such things include violence and sexual humor, along with those comes great action and graphics and romance if you like that. Anime is superior to every other form of 2D animation, and because Anime series have a plot each episode is connected with the last, in other words the end of every episode in anime has a To-Be-Continued ending which keeps you wondering 'how are they gonna get outta this?' there's also character developement and twists in the plot which change the theme of the show.

Did you just know about your husband's hobbies recently? Or haven't you asked him or notice it at all before you were even married?

Anime is only a form of entertainment, it's the same when people like games, watch pr0n and music. Different people have different hobbies; most likely he loves anime very much for simple reasons like:

- Pretty art
- CG effects
- Theme music
- Fan services (you know, stuffs like panties-shot, half-naked and the like)
- Plots and stories
- Whatever reason there is.

Some people think that watching anime are childish - it may be true, but since most anime are made NOT for kids, well... >_> Most anime fans, once they get to like anime, it's hard to break the habit.

I don't know what you are doing with all the information given from Answerers, but good luck understanding your husband / breaking his habit. :)
