Is there a site like Wikipedia dedicated to comic books?

I often find myself searching for more detailed information that what Wikipedia offers about comic books and super heros, usually when it comes to things like older story arcs and such.

Is there a website similar to Wikipedia that contains detailed information only about comics and/or manga?

wikia.com is almost exactly like wikipedia but they have subcategories that focus more on specific subjects (ie Transformers, Marvel Universe, DC Universe). The only two comic book companies that I know of that they have are Marvel and DC which you can find in these two links:

comicvine.com is similar as well but it isn't quite as easy to use/navigate unless you've been using it for a while.
