Does anyone remember a comic strip that ran in the Boston Sunday Globe (and maybe other papers) called EGGERS! |
I can't find it anywhere on the whole internet. I wanted to show it to a friend. I know it probably doesnt exist anymore, but isnt there an image of it ANYWHERE? It was filled with puns on the word "egg." Like "egg-citing," and "terr-egg-ic." Can anyone tell me a paer it runs in currently? This might be the only thing in the world that ISN'T on the INTERNET! How is that POSSIBLE?? The Egger Family comics appear in several newspapers across the country. They're not as widespread as they used to be. I remember them fairly well. They featured an egg drawn by the artist to resemble some celebrity or well-known person, and "egged" their name, like "Mon-egg Lisa" or "Juli-egg Child." Children were asked to send in their own "Eggers" that may be published in a future comic. |
