What makes a character cool?

Who do you think is the coolest fictional character and why?

A character is cool (well for me) when it comes to things like outfits, the hair, their history or backgroud, their physique or physical characteristics (usually characters who are eye candies) and voice.

for me I say Kurogane of Tsubsasa Chronicle is one of the coolest characters in anime...

Peter Parker - he's realistic. A realistic person dealing with extraordinary ability.

Logan/Wolverine - similar. He's also cool because of the healing factor.

kazune kujyou
he's handsome, smart, athletic but afraid of bugs and sometimes he's a good person

ruka nogi
he's well a friend of natsume hyuuga and natsume is nice and all but he's perverted

cool? well, there are a lot of things that i define as "cool" ^^

real mayer- from ergo proxy. shes determined and head strong, and yet, she has the capability of adapting to any sort of enviornment. i love how she never strays from her goals and how she is a real honest person.

kyoko mogami- she is seriously one of my fave shoujo manga female protanagists.... and i usually can't stand them ^^ (from skip beat) kyoko is very head strong and has alot of intergrity concerning her job what she believes in.ok, yes she may hold a grudge.... but i love how even though she hates the man who basically ruined his life she still (resentfully) helps him out in certain ways... though hates herself later for doing so ^^ shes a kind character ^^

light yagami (death note)- i think its sooo awesome how hes able to dream something and then make it a reality ^^ even if it is twisted.... he accomplished alot ^^ not to mention hes smart ^^ i love smart characters ^^

i always think a character is cool becuz of their skills. if a guy hasnt mastered any skills he isnt very cool but someone like goku u can't f around with.
