1. yu yu hakusho- one of the first animes that became internationally famous
2. bleach - one of the best from the new animes
3. death note - gotta love the concept
4. dragon ball - despite having no ending... still one of the best.
5. inu yasha - girls most likely would watch these king of anime.

DragonBall - Classic
Yu Yu Hakusho - I liked the story and the fights, and the whole cast is easy to like
Bleach - It tends to drag at points
Inyuyasha - Reminds me of a never ending story
