Leader of the Akatsuki?

Who is the leader of the Akatsuki? I have a theory about it being the 4th Hokage. He looks the same! My theory is that Minato used something like the "Yin-Yang Clone jutsu" (made up example) Where he seperated himself to seal the Kyuubi, (much like Sarutobi did to seal Orochimaru the 1st and 2nd Hokage's.) But his good side sealed the Kyuubi and the dark side went free and formed the Akatsuki. Does anybody know WHO THE SAM HILL HE IS????

OMG you are so behind. Everybody knows that the akatsuki leader is a guy fom the rain village called pein. He teacher was Jiraiya. His eyes are called Rinnegan. He has six different bodys. He switches at of them. Pein was a boy named nagato to start with. Nagato had two friends Konan(the akatsuki woman) and Yahiko(One of the Akatsuki bodies). Here read some chapters. You shoul know what i'm talking about.

Well, I'm not really in to Naruto, but why don't you just buy the comic book? I think it might be better and more graphic than the anime.

I personally dont think it's Yondaime. I believe the leader is Pein (Nagato or Yahiko), but some may argue that the leader is Tobi. The reason why they think that way is because, he "ordered" Pein something. Tobi was merely telling Pein that he believes that he's the one to capture the kyuubi. It wasn't really a command, and for all we know, he couldv'e been telling that to one of Peins six bodies and not actuallu him. The reason I think your theory is wrong is because we already know the connection between Jiraya and Pein (sensei-student)...There doesn't have to be more of a connection between the two.

Pain (銉氥偆銉? Pein?) is the leader of Akatsuki. He exists as six different bodies which share the same mind. The only common physical characteristic amongst them is their orange hair color, a number of piercings that differ between bodies, and the Rinnegan ( 杓换鐪? Rinnegan? literally "Samsara Eye"). The first possessor of the Rinnegan that Jiraiya met was Nagato (闀烽杸) who, like Yahiko and Konan, was left orphaned by one of Amegakure's many wars. Although he directs the actions of the other members and maintains authority over them, Pain takes orders from Tobi.[43]

the leader of akatsuki is pein who is also known as nagato.he is also seen taking orders from tobi who is really madara uchiha.so i guess you could say madara uchiha is really the leader of akatsuki.
