How many episodes are there in naruto??

i'm watching episode 187 and i suddenly wonder how many episodes are there in naruto... (in korea, they are in season 7 i think...)

Well in the first series there are 220 episodes ending on 220.
220 Setting Out:

The time has finally come! Now that Jiraiya's returned, Naruto says his goodbyes and prepares to leave Konoha to begin his training. The it starts again in it's secound series Naruto Shippuden which starts on epsiode 221:

221 Homecoming:

Two and a half years have passed since Naruto went with Jiraiya to train. Now he has returned, and although most things are the same, other things have changed. From Konohamaru becoming a genin to Tsunade's head being added to the Great Stone Faces. Now, Naruto resumes his old life, only he's changed as well.

From volume 28 onward, the series takes a new setting, taking place 2陆 years after the previous volume. While simply referred to as Part II in the manga, the anime gave this part of the series the name Naruto: Shipp奴den (銉娿儷銉?鐤鹃ⅷ浼? Naruto: Shipp奴den? lit. Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles). Between where volume 27 leaves off and the beginning of volume 28, to distance the gap between the manga and anime, the anime adds a series of filler episodes totalling 85, the longest number of filler episodes in any anime series.

Naruto: Shipp奴den tells the story of a matured and older cast from the original series. After training for 2陆 years with Jiraiya, Naruto Uzumaki, now fifteen, returns to Konohagakure, reunites with the friends he left behind, and reforms the original Team 7, excluding Sasuke Uchiha.

Unlike the original series, the organization of Akatsuki, which played a minor role earlier, takes on the main antagonist factor in their attempts of world domination. All of Naruto's classmates have matured and improved in the ranks, some more than others.

there are 220 or 221 in the first seires. In shippuden (time skip) 40-41 is coming out this friday in japan. Manga chapter 383 comes out tomorrow in japan

There are 220 in the first part, and 41 in the Shippuden series as of this week. Although only up to 135 in the first part follows the actual storyline as in the manga(with a few filler episodes thrown in here and there), but after 135 it is filler episodes until Shippuden begins.

altogether there are 259 eps, including the shippuden eps (39 eps)

There are 220 episodes in Narut then in episode 220 he leaves Konoha with Jirya & comback 2.5 years later now he's 15 & the Anime is called Naruto Shipuuden (witch means Naruto the Twister legend or somthing like that)
