what is the setting for naruto? lyk time or region (i now the villages i mean country or somethon)

The Naruto universe is an unnamed fictional universe in the anime and manga series Naruto created by Masashi Kishimoto. The fictional universe contains various countries and locations that have been introduced to the audience so far. In the Naruto universe, countries operate as separate political entities and are presumably all monarchies, ruled by landlords who stand equally in rank with the hidden villages' leaders. The Naruto world is similar to feudal Japan in many aspects; those countries maintain balance between themselves through nothing but power. Despite its similarity with feudal Japan, modern items are seen throughout the series, such as movie theaters, security cameras and even modern life-support systems.
So it's a mix between now and the past and a fictional universe.
The village Naruto is in is called Konohagakure in it is in the Land of Fire (Hi no Kuni).

It said in an interview with Masashi Kishimoto that the setting of Naruto is an alternate present, with some technology, but not exstensively used.
The time it's set in isn't really aluded to either.
