Did Sonny James Do any country,I say did he?

Is this an ouch millersc?

personally I have always considered Sonny James as straight up country even though he did have several that crossed over to pop. He's one of the legends in my book. My favorite song by Sonny is "When The Snow Is On The Roses"

I did'nt know he did anything but.........(?) (this is a Joke, Right???!!!)

I did not know if you were serious, but, yeah, I think you just "ouched" yourself!!! lol

Caveman

He did lots of country. It wasn't his fault that most of the songs released as singles in the late 60s/early 70s were covers of pop or R&B songs. "That's Me Without You," which I think was his first hit, couldn't be classified as anything but country.

Hey Goneleft...
Sonny James holds the #50 spot in the top 100 country music stars of all time.
Take good Care of Her and These Empty Arms are about as country as ya kin git.
He was born in Hackleburg, Al.... just up the road a piece from where I live now.

Sonny James the Southern Gentleman from Hackleburg,Alabama.
Young Love,Running Bear.
Yes he sure did country music.

On the pop charts, his best known song is probably "Young Love". It did reach #1 but Tab Hunter also did a version of it and had the bigger hit.
