I am a country singer, and am getting a new mic. What should I go for the sm58 or the audix om5?

im in a punkrock band and the sm58 is my favorite, you can beat the hell outta them and they dont break....but if your gonna just keep it in a mic stand, and never drop it, not sure if anything else is better!
