Was the first version of Bob Luman's Let's Think About Livin' on the rock charts or the country charts?

He had another version of it in the '70s, which was on the B side of It Takes You, and it was definitely country, but I'm curious about that first version, the hit version. Was it on both charts, or was it ever on the rock charts at all?

It was on the Pop charts, charted at #7 in 1960. So you could consider it Rock, but back then on Billboard was just called Pop or Popular. That's all I have access to here is Billboard, which was really the main industry standard, still is really.

If it was on the pop charts i would'nt heard it or heard about it..I've been COUNTRY TO THE BONE since i took my first breath...I've always heard it on the country stations.

I believe Luman's first version was on the pop charts in the mid to late fifties.

Ya see I learned something I never knew he redid it for a second release. I always thought of it as a country song though. Great question by the way.

It went Top 10 on both the Country and Pop charts. Believe it or not, it went to number 3 on the R & B charts and number 6 on the British charts. All from the same recording!!
