I'm really nervous about a concert tonight.what can i do to clam down? |
my school is having a winter band concert tonight and the low brass section(section i'm in)has a really big part to play.i'm not so good at it and i'm afraid i'll mess up. first lay down and relax, calm down. Don't worry about it if you mes up just lpay it off just before you leave sit in your room for a few minutes with out any noise, and have some water to drink & think of happy things. Smoke something GREEN or DRINK something mean You could always just do like Ashley Simpson, and fake it. If there are many other kids that play ur instrument, then act like your playing but dont. They will all make up for your absence of sound. I used to do that sometimes during band practice. And i am nervous for me chorus concert tomorrow, but i am just not singing and moving my mouth, and that is gonna work just fine for me, its what i have been doing all year so far. lol. I would practice as much as you can today. Try to focus on what is causing you problems & address them. stage performances are very full of anxiety so in order to calm down make sure you do these 3 things. breath , stretch , shake and yes i kno its from a song but trust me it really does work i promise. practice youre breathing methods about 30 minutes before the concert in and out regularly ( do not hold youre breath it can make u more nervous) . stretch, stretch ure legs arms and anything else and finally jump up and down a few times this helps as well it also helps to do all of this to ure favorite rap music and if u dont like rap music try n e other music u can dance to . and before u go on just have a clear mindset and try not to worry. hope this helped Love Alexis All you got to do is your best and lay low on the parts your not sure about but this whole fear could have been eliminated with less internet surfing, video games,TV and a few hours of PRACTICE,PRACTICE, PRACTICE, I mean we talkin PRACTICE. Good Luck. take a Valium |
