How do you think country would be different today if Hank wouldn't have died?

As much as I want to believe it would be different, somehow, sadly, I believe that he would have been put on the back burner just the same as all the other legends. I think he'd be turning in his grave if he knew what "country" music has turned into.

It would be very different. He would not have been as popular and never would have influenced music as much as he did, had he not died as early as he did. Same thing for guys like Jimi Hendrix.

I agree with Lisa because the Nashville big shots haven't done anything to preserve the great classic country music that we all love so well. Hank could only do so much and the rest is up to us to keep his legacy alive. Hey Frank does your Mother know you are on her computer causing problems?If you don't like country music then why are you here in the country music section? My question is who the hell is Frank?

Also, I think Patsy Cline may have had an even greater impact if she had lived longer, simply because of her versatility and her ability to perform a wider range of songs and material...

I don't know what it would be like. I agree with the others. But I like to think that he would have continued making the best damn music he could. and would have appreciated what his own work has done for the music.
