Yep, It's Roy Acuff. I'm originally from Knoxville and he came from Maynardville (just outside of Knoxville). I'll never forget going to see him at the Opry. My son, who was about 6 at the time, called him Roy Handcuff.

edit: I got my answer out of my head lol....I knew it. I don't really know how I knew it...but when I think of the Grand Ole Opry I automatically think Roy Acuff!!
