Sugarland has a song most intriguing to me?

Can yall elaberate?
The song is about apparently a woman who is involved with a man that has a prior commitment. She is appealing to his demeaner to stay with her. She seems very determined to have him, when in fact she is hinting that he is already taken. Is this just another country western song or is it just another dang country western song that I like? What makes me like it?

I think what makes ME like it is that when the song first came out the women singer can't think of her name Well her husband and her were getting a divorce and she started crying during the taping of their video and her singing partner can't think of his name either, said cut to the video but she wanted to go on taping because it was what she was really feeling

Country music is known for it's heart felt lyrics and music. That's why it is America's music. There's always a song you can relate to.

My way of thinking is that it starts off wanting him to stay but he won't commit and end up saying if you can't commit to me then stay with her and don't come back to me

STAY---and it's another dang country western song that you, and a bunch of others, like. I think because it's acoustic, and that girl can tell a story like no other woman in country.

"Stay" is a song that Jennifer actually wrote when she was a solo artist, before Sugarland was ever formed (and before she became a country artist). Since it wasn't written as a country western song, it is the one song by Sugarland that I don't consider to be a country song. I like it though.

Awesome song. Very thought provoking. It seems to be able to be interpreted a variety of ways that make it appealing to a variety of people. I think Sugarland is one of the best bands out there right now.

Its called stay. One of my favorite songs. The music video is so sad, she cries, but that song is in my forever favorites.
