I read in country weekly that Chris LeDoux's son, Ned, and western underground (chris ledouxs band) have made an album. They play Chris' music, as a tribute to him. And also sing their own songs. I was wondering if anyone had heard the new cd with Ned singing, and if its any good. Your right Ned is the drummer, and Dustin Evans is on vocals. Here's a link to where you can buy the cd. I think I'm going to.
http://cdbaby.com/cd/westernunderground I haven't heard it, i never even knew about it but, now that i'm in your YA network i'm a starter man. ahhhhhhhhhh
i'm curious now. because i dig Chris LeDoux, when i saw you question the 1st thought was no way, he has some kin singing! i've saw Chris LeDoux twice. a guy that i was stationed w/ in Germany is friends w/ his family.
EDIT - i read this on the Western Underground website, sounds like it's not Ned singing but he's a drummer
鈥淲e wanted to do mostly Dad鈥檚 songs for the first year or so鈥? said Ned LeDoux, one of two drummers with the band, 鈥渂ut still give the audience a taste of our own music too.鈥?Country singer Dustin Evans was invited into the band to cover the majority of the vocal work, bringing with him some great songs, an incredible voice, and a charismatic stage presence all his own. Keyboard player Bobby Jensen and guitarist Mark Sissel have been with the band since it鈥檚 inception, along with longtime drummer KW Turnbow and bassist Lyle Evans, together create the powerful sound of Western Underground. |
